Champagne Demay-Didier

HISTORY

Farmers in the Champagne Brie area, the Jacques family settled down in Baye in 1932.

André and Gilberte began to cultivate their first plots of vine in Baye and Sézanne.

In 1955, Yves and Gisèle took over the winery, developed the family vineyard and enlarged the surface of the vineyard in Sézanne. The Champagne Yves JACQUES became a brand and the first bottles were produced in 1960.

Now, their son Rémi with his wife Valérie and their children Quentin and Bastien follow their ancestors’ footsteps, protecting and enhancing their heritage and knowledge. They cultivate the family vineyard which grew with new plots in the Marne Valley and Aube‘s area thanks to the will and efforts of Rémi and Valérie.
